And it's a fundraiser for The Diane Holmes Fund - a fund at the Community Foundation, to continue Diane's work in the community.

Red Wood Central Red Wood Central will be performing! Red Wood Central is an Ottawa based acoustic duo consisting of Michelle April (vocals, guitar) and Al Wood (guitar,vocals,harmonica). The band is currently promoting the their self-titled debut CD launched at Zaphod's 1 last June. The style is strongly blues based with a repertoire consisting of original music and timeless standards from the blues and other foolproof source archive. Red Wood Central has enjoyed CBC and college radio exposure at local and national levels. Red Wood Central will be headlining another Zaphod's 1 show on September 14th and are set to record a second CD.I'll help!

Liz MacKenzie A party for Diane the Guerilla Gardener wouldn't be complete without a plant table. So bring your plant - potted, labeled and looking fresh - to the plant table before 11:00. Liz MacKenzie will be working the table. She has potted up about 80 plants including: Mint, Oregano, Daisies, Ecinachea (Purple Cone Flower), Filipendula (Meadow Sweet), Johnny Jump Ups, Vinca, Ribbon Grass, Galardia (Blanket Flower), Campanula Puntata (Bellflower), Wild Anenome, Clematis, Artemesia, Autumn Joy (Sedum). Also Shrubs - Lilac, Climbing Hydrangea, Alpine Currant.
